What type of silver marker or paint pen is good for a darker colored wood baseball bat autograph?

Posted by admin on June 3rd, 2010 and filed under silver | 5 Comments »

I had a dark brown game used bat signed with a silver sharpie. I do not think the autograph came out that well. I was wondering what kind of silver marker or paint pen I should use next time for a dark brown or black baseball bat? I appreciate anyones help.

Uni silver markers

Sharpies are okay for one or two times but dry out real quick. Nothing more annoying than going up to a celebrity and having your marker not work

You can get them at craft stores like Michaels

What is the difference between Italian and Egyptian silver?

Posted by admin on June 1st, 2010 and filed under silver | 1 Comment »

I was in Egypt a few weeks ago and my friend said that Egyptian silver is basically the same thing as Italian silver, but a lot cheaper. He says that the Egyptian silver doesn’t have the 929 stamp, is that only for Italian silver?

What are the basic differences?

The only thing i know is that Italian silver is purer, thats why its more expensive.

What is a silver lining on a cloud as referred to in the saying?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under silver | 4 Comments »

Clouds have many bright shades but a silver one? Where does this saying come from and why silver?

It comes from the fact that if it is just a single cloud and the sun is streaming behind it, the edges of the cloud glow bright grey, kinda silvery. So it’s connected in that if the cloud passes then the sun is going to come out and it’ll be sunny, just like if a trouble in your life (the cloud) passes then the sun is always there behind it and it’ll eventually shine through and something nice will happen.

The Silver Warcry!

Posted by admin on May 26th, 2010 and filed under silver | 25 Comments »

This is our SILVER WARCRY!

The silver market is being manipulated by big banks in cahoots with the United States Federal Government.

Why are they doing this?
See my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/stellaconcepts/
for more info on that.

What these manipulators are not aware of is that suppressed prices cause physical shortage (by lack of incentive to mine and refine silver)

A perfect storm is being created in the Silver market. We are seeing signs of physical shortage around about the same time the United States dollar is being questioned as a world reserve currency.

Based on a recent article published by Israel Friedman.

What mass of silver nitrate must be used to completely precipitate the chloride ion from the sample?

Posted by admin on May 26th, 2010 and filed under silver | 4 Comments »

please help me out asap!!!

Suppose a 1.441-g sample is known to contain 12.5 % chloride ion by mass. What mass of silver nitrate must be used to completely precipitate the chloride ion from the sample? What mass of silver chloride will be obtained?

Hi angela….im stuck on the same problem…hahahaha

Silver nitrate is highly soluble salt and when it is dissolved it forms silver and nitrate ions:
AgNO3(aq) —–> Ag^+(aq) + NO3^-(aq)

Silver ions react with chloride ions present in the solution and forms insoluble silver chloride:

Ag^+(aq) + Cl^-(aq) ——-> AgCl(s)
This is the net ionic equation of the reaction.

Mass of the sample:1.441 g
Mass of Cl- ions in the sample: 1.441 x (12.5/100) = 0.180125 g
Molar mass of Cl = 35.5 g /mol
Mole of Cl- ions = 0.180125 g / 35.5 g/mol = 0.0050739mol

According to net ionic equation;
1 mol Ag^+ ion is necessary to precipitate 1 mol Cl^- ion,
therefore for 0.0050739 mol Cl^- ion we will need 0.0050739 mol Ag^+ ion.

According to dissolving equation;
AgNO3(aq) —–> Ag^+(aq) + NO3^-(aq)

0.0050739 mol Ag^+ ion will be produced by 0.0050739 mol AgNO3

Molar mass of AgNO3 = 170 g /mol
Mass of AgNO3 required : 0.0050739 mol x 170 g/mol = .863 g

Silver Longs Getting Crushed by JP Morgan Manipulation

Stunning new evidence of manipulation in silver and gold has just been published by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the U.S. Treasury Department. The OCC, first established in 1863, charters, regulates and supervises all national banks. Their new data proves the manipulation in unambiguous terms. The report also confirms how the U.S. Government, in partnership with JPMorgan Chase, intentionally cheated silver investors worldwide of many billions of dollars during the fourth quarter of 2008, and longer. This was all outside the futures market I normally write about. It was a scam of historic proportions.

How can i stop my silver arowana from bitting the smaller silver arowana?

Posted by admin on May 16th, 2010 and filed under silver | 4 Comments »

My stupid silver arowana keeps bitting the other one and the smaller one looks really messed up. the two silver arowana’s size difference isn’t a lot. there both almost close to the same size. How can I stop the bigger one from bitting the little one? I dont want the smaller one to die.

the only way is to separate the two until they are more compatible sizes.

if you don’t want to,or can’t afford to, get another tank for the little guy, consider a tank divider. you can purchase them, or make one out of egg crating. there are many diy ways to make your own tank divider.
good luck!
