Has any-one ever seen those filigree cage pendants at Wal-Mart? I think you can open them up. What do you make with those? Do you put some-thing in-side? Does any-one have any pictures of necklaces made with them?
Take your jewelry pliers, gently pry two of the little bars apart, insert a bead, charm, orsomething that will fit inside, and gently close them back together. Hang them on a chain or leather cord with a jumpring to make a necklace.
You can make this in a variety of sizes as either a pendant for a necklace or for dangles on earrings. Use different colors of wire and thread for thousands of unique color combinations.

I’d like a website to a silversmith that uses fine silver (.999) and can create custom pendants. And please, no Precious Metal Clay (PMC) suggestions.
Thanks so much! =]
if you find any custom jeweler they should be able to make what you want using fine silver. Check your yellow pages.
Usually they don’t use fine silver as it’s too soft and too easily damaged. You could ask about reticulated silver, that is sterling silver but through a heating process the surface changes to just fine silver if you like the texture.

Rainbow Journey Gems – Specializing in creating handcrafted custom jewelry for harmony and well-being. Working as a independent artist I personally hand craft each piece of jewelry with various hand tools using a technique called wire wrapping. Using extraordinarily tarnish resistant, anti-oxidant, anti-firescale argentium sterling silver I encase rare and precious gemstones, minerals and fossils into one of a kind unique pieces of jewelry. I wire wrap everything from fluorite and malachite to more rare stones like larimar and hemimorhoite. I have been mining crystals and minerals for 15 years and have been creating this medium of healing wearable artwork for eleven years. On each piece I list the stones origin, carat weight and healing properties of that particular stone. I enjoy bringing these stones to all who enjoy their beauty as well as healing properties. All pieces are made with love and positive intention.
***I wrote and recorded the song, it called love on by Divine Journey Music/Steve Harkey, Im the same guy who wrapped the pendants, you can check out more of my music and wraps at rainbowjourneygems.com

I could say claires they do them, not very expensive so i hope this helps.
Tutorial on how to create a tree-of-life pendant (a little beaded tree). Inspired by a comment posted on another of my videos, I’ve spent months making many little trees. Some worked, some didn’t. Here’s the one that I like the best. You can see some of the rejected trees on my Twitter site @CamilleSharon.

You can google her and see how her pendants are made. How does she get the pictures stamped onto the silver. I know that there are alphabet stamps and some design stamps to use on metal, but I don’t know how she did the bigger designs. Help?
I had never seen her work until tonight. They look as though she must have made the originals in wax and then cast them in silver or any other metal she wanted to use. One can use small tools and heat to make most anything in wax.
I did not reference any material; I have made small sculptures and jewelry in wax and either cast them myself or had a foundry cast them for me.
